If an interface is sending EIGRP hellos, won't it also send EIGRP updates? I had an interface sending hellos, but not updates. The updates were going out a different interface and it made all kinds of routing problems. I worked with TAC and had to put a distribute list on eigrp to stop the updates from going out the wrong interface.
I dont understand... if you dont want updates sent out the interface, why would you want hello's on the interface ? to receive updates from a neighbor ?
if not why not just passive the interfaces that are messing you up ?
