eigrp in the BSCN book

Folks,

If anyone can help me in understanding the eigrp example in chapter 5 - figure 5-4. I am having a lot of trouble understanding the costs or metrics they are using to explain the example. It makes it very difficult in understanding the point of the conversation.

I'm not certain which eigrp book you're referring to, but the metrics are actually pretty simple when you get down to it. Have you looked at the eigrp white paper for a counter example to help you understand better? If you send me specific questions, I'll be glad to help.
