EIGRP loadbalaning and VOIP traffic

Greetings,

We want to load balance on on of our site but the problem is that we have cisco VOIP at site. Our primary link is 256 kb and secondary link is 128 kb Any idea on how to send VOIP traffic to specific WAN link. We do not want VOIP traffic to use load balance . We are running eigrp protocol. Any configuration example would be very useful.

Re: EIGRP loadbalaning and VOIP traffic

If the voice traffic is always destined to a specific server, or some specific ip address, then you could run eigrp over both links, configure variance to load share, and then set up a static for the destination the voice traffic always follows out the 256k link.

Other than this, you could set the tos bits on the voice traffic, using policy based routing, or configuring the phones to set the tos bits, then use policy based routing on the inbound interfaces so the voice traffic (the traffic with the tos bits set) will always take the 256k link if it's available.
