EIGRP Route Filterting

Hi,

Is there a difference between using these two commands (Objective is to prevent some static routes being distributed)

redistribute static route-map <map-name>

OR

distribute-list <list-name> out static

I assume that using route-maps gives you more flexibility, but if the objective is to just prevent some static routes being advertised, Would it make a differene using any of the above two commands ?

redistribute command use for inject static or other routing protocols ina Routing protocol

and

Route-map is a policy which define and implement by diffrent ways
