Eigrp un-equal load balancing ratio 3 to 2 ????

We are distributing traffic load to 2 link with 3 - 2 ratio.

I can make it to 3 to 1 or 2 to 1 with variance .

but, can we do it with 3 to 2 ratio ?

any idea ?

thanks

Variance only tells you which feasible successors to include in the routing table, the metrics on the routes determine the load share ratio. The way it's determined is to take the highest metric installed in the table, and then divide each lower metric to find the ratio.

I don't think you can get a 3 to 2 ratio unless you have something like this:

1200

600

400

Then you would get 1, 2, and 3. But there's no way to get 3 to 2 with just two links, the way the math is done.

By the way, we've had another couple of requests for this capability, so we might be filing it as a future feature request. It will probably take some time to get it into code, but I thought I'd let you know.
