I also want a static host route to a machine in the blocked class C to be advertised by EIGRP. Will this config work? If not can you guys point me to some documentation that I'm missing. Here's the config...
access-list 5 deny 192.168.50.0 0.0.0.255
router eigrp 5
distribute-list 5 out
ip route 192.168.50.50 255.255.255.255 192.168.0.5
Yes this will work , you will have to add a permit statement on the end of ACL 5 , you may also want to add some metrics and add the 'subnets' key word to your redistribute static command , also with the EIGRP config you have you will be advertising 192.168.0.x class C not the whole range 192.168.x.x, if you add the 'no auto-summary' command to your EIGRP config then you will be able to advertise all your subnets and perform classless routing , otherwise you will only be performing classful routing
