I have a plane cisco catalyst 3524 xl and I need to connect ten PC two of which on a separate vlan but the switch only lets me enable one vlan at time.
Can anybody help me figure out the steps I need to go through to make this simple lan work?
Are you referring to layer 3 "interface VLAN X"? On an XL switch this interface is used for only management purpose and hence you can have only one interface up/up. This a layer 2 only switch and no added value with having more than one VLAN interface up/up
