Enabling Secret Password.

Due to some problem I have fired no enable secret password on Distribution layer Switch. The configuration is saved.

When I press enable to go in to previlage mode it says %No Password Set %.

Is there is way to re-enable the password without restarting the Switch or without recovering the password.

Try using the console, instead of telnet. That should work.

That means you are telling me to connect Switch through console & to do the password recovery. Right ??

I had this problems befor with my 2600 router, the best solution is to recovery but dont worry u dont loose ur configuration if u do it well,..
