end-to-end test call in vhm

I'm doing an end-to-end test (not incoming) call in VHM and it is repeatedly failing and never succeeding as far as I can tell. What am I doing wrong? I'm using a 7960 with the exact MAC and extension number. Is there something I should watch out for? I can make calls from the phone just fine.

Yes, you should look out for the Mac address and the extension number of the IP phone. I had a similar case in which the end-to-end test was failing.I followed the procedure given in the document below and it helped me. But the 6th step is a bit confusing. Try using the MAC address of source IP phone and not the destination. Please make sure of this and also that the phone should go off hook to be successful. And this really works.
