Hi ,
whats the equivalent of "sh top'(which runs in CatOS) command in IOS , is it Sh interface x/y ??

you could try "show interface summary" its not 100% the same, but its helpful.

what kind of information are you looking for on CATOS x IOS?

As far as I know there is no real equivalent for the show top which is a basically timed report of whats happened for say the last 15 minutes . For traffic counters you can use "show interface counters" , for error type traffic you can use "show interface counters errors" .
