erase rommon variables in Catalyst 6500

Is there a procedure to erase formerly placed rommon variables in the rommon of supervisory 1A of Catalyst 6500? The variable was created with the syntax VARIABLE=value. We can clear the value but can't erase the whole variable.

no there is no command provided to customers to do this. Please try not to make any changes to rommon variables in rommon unless a TAC engineer tells you to. If you need to change boot variables and the like, do it from the configuration mode when the IOS has loaded.

If you accidentally create new variables, these have no affect on the switch operation. Don't worry about it and try not to make any further changes in rommon mode.
