Errdisable-Trap but no Linkup/down-Trap on CATOS?

Hi,

I would like to get an errdisable-Trap from the CatOS-switches (Catos 4000,29xx,6xxx) but I do not like to get traps if a pc connects or leaves the network.

How can I achieve that?

What version of CAT OS are you running? Make sure the PAGP/ETHC logging severity is set to 5.

I have Catos 6.3(3) and I think in the SNMP-Trap-config there is no PAGP/ETHC. This is only available when using syslog not trap, right?

Do you think there is no possiblity to get a direct trap to a management station (I would prefer this instead of making a syslog analysis and sending a trap through this analyzer)
