error message in the log

I continually see this following message in the router log every day.

I think the router interface is not powerful enough to process the in coming traffic. Is there any way to fix this problem without upgrade hardware?

Feb 4 16:32:48: %QUICC-1-UNDERFLO: QUICC(0/0), Transmit underflow.

Re: error message in the log

From CCO:

Error Message

%QUICC-1-UNDERFLO : QUICC([dec]/[dec]), Transmit underflow

Explanation While a frame was being transmitted, the local buffer of the serial controller chip received insufficient data because data could not be transferred to the chip fast enough for the buffer to keep pace with its output rate. Normally, such a problem is temporary, depending on transient peak loads within the system.

Recommended Action The system should recover. No action is required.

Given that these errors are 1-2/hour at most, I would say nothing to worry about.

Re: error message in the log

No, this problem is not temporary, I had this error message continully everyday. I can see the packets drop on the interface.
