%error opening

Why do I get %error opening TFTP/255.255.255.255/network-config

in my new router (Cisco 1721) , it is configure in a private network both serial and ethernet parameter but everytime I power down the router and power it up again this error messages appear. Unlike any other router this router takes sometime to boot up .

Re: %error opening

Hi,

try to put "no service config" to your startup config.

Re: %error opening

By default the router is trying to load some config information from the network.

Configure "no service config" if you want to get rid of that behavior.
