Hi,
when I try to add a Pix to RME (VMS 2.2) I get the following error messages:
%PIX-7-710001: TCP access requested from 192.168.211.3/3266 to inside:192.168.27.2/ssh
%PIX-7-710002: TCP access permitted from 192.168.211.3/3266 to inside:192.168.27.2/ssh
%PIX-6-109005: Authentication succeeded for user 'foo' from 0.0.0.0/0 to 192.168.211.3/0 on interface SSH
%PIX-6-605005: Login permitted from 192.168.211.3/3266 to inside:192.168.27.2/ssh for user "foo"
%PIX-6-315011: SSH session from 192.168.211.3 on interface inside for user "foo" disconnected by SSH server, reason: "packet CRC check failed" (0x02)
%PIX-7-710005: TCP request discarded from 192.168.211.3/3266 to inside:192.168.27.2/ssh
The Pix is v6.31 and has the ip-address 192.168.27.2.
The RME is v3.5 with IDU 7 and has the ip-address 192.168.211.3.
When I connect to the Pix from my VMS-Server with plink, putty or teraterm the login is working perfectly.
Any ideas?

The only relevant bug that I could find was CSCdr98931 although if you are running 6.3, the probability of this is less. Since everything seems to be fine and should be working, rebooting the system would be a good possibility.

Hi,
I have updated the Pix to v 6.3(3) and rebooted the VMS-Server serveral times - still no success.
I don't think that this problem relates to the os of the VMS-Server, the plink and putty I used for my (successful) login tests were the ones which are contained in the VMS-Bundle - looks more like a really buggy RME.
