Ether channel Redundancy with Four NIC cards

Hi

If two Cat6509 connected to an NT server with four NIC cards. The NT server has got 4 NIC cards. The cat6509 also connects to each other. If I want to configure ether channel with two NICs cards to each switch will this work?

All the NIC cards use one Ip and MAC address. When tried in the LAb it crashed. We want to achieve the redundancy with Ether channel.

Any thoughts?

Re: Ether channel Redundancy with Four NIC cards

Only the following vendor NICs are supporting etherchannel.

If you are using Intel NICs, you can additionally check out this link.
