I am looking into the utilization of individual links within a 4 port etherchannel group that is used as a trunk on a Cat 5500. I want to understand the output of the command "show channel traffic". In looking at the output I see a percentage of traffic for each link for Unicast, Multicast and Broadcast packets. My questions are these:
1. Is percentage based upon number of packets or octet throughput?
2. Why are Rx-Bcst and Tx-Bcst percentages always at 0% on all of my switches?
3. Are there any other relevant commands to monitor the utilization of individual links in a etherchannel group?
