I have been asked if it is possible to configure on this switch an etherchannel composed by port 10/100/1000 and GBIC port.
Initially I thought yes at all, but after looking at documentation I have seen a strange picture where it shows you that GBIC can form a layer 2 etherchannel only between themselves and you need a Portchannel interface to bind it with another channel on the 10/100/1000 ports.
Could anybody clear myself this thing ?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure that's correct. You need a portchannel interface to bind it with another channel on the 10/100/1000 ports.

You are correct. The Media type of the members has to be the same. So you cannot have a member from 10/100/1000 and a 1000 base SX in the same channel group
