Etherchannel question

Hi, for a test a customer would like to change flowcontrol and/or port negotiation in a cat6000 for only one port in a channel.Will this give any problems to the channel? CCO states that all ports have to be "compatibly configured per EtherChannel".Regards Guenther

The etherchannel will break if you try to change the port configs on any of the participating ports.The port will be removed from the group and etherchannel continues to work without it.
