I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a module available for the 1600/2600/3600 WIC port that features a standard 10/100 ethernet port. I'm looking to setup a 1601 router for use in conjunction with a cable modem. Thanks.

I found this module, the WIC-1ENET card, but it is apparently only compatible with 1700 series routers?

You are right. There is NO Ethernet module for 1600 series.
Beside that WIC-1ENET works only in one slot of 1700 and it is not Fast Ethernet

As far as I know there is not a single ethernet module that will fit in ALL three of those series of routers. The 1700 does not have fastethernet capability.

That very well may be, but if there happens to be an ethernet module that will fit the 1601, I will be in heaven. Its not looking that way, however...
