You could do the following:
Check the cabling
Check the remote side duplex setting
Try another port on your switch if this does not help. In that way you can detemine if the cause is in the switch or somewhere external.

Check your port speed and duplex settings on the PC/ Server connected to the port. Its better you force speed to 100Mbps and Full duplex if NIC supports it. Do the same on the port.
