Facing Problem with Cisco View of 1700

Hi All,

I like to have proper view of a Cisco 1700 router with two WIC 2 A/S card installed in Cisco View 5.3 (RME 3.3). All four interfaces are being used as Async (providing remote access service). Now the problem is all the four interfaces are showing gray in Cisco View. When call lands into Serial-1 the Aux port becomes Green. The Aux port is having different TTY no (5) than Interface S0 (TTY 1). This behaviour is also not clear. Looking for help from sombody urgently.

I feel that this could be probably be a bug. Is the Async ports selectable and does show any information?

Hi,

The Async ports are selectable. The Async ports does not show any information, only the following error messages comes. "No such instance error on ifDescr.0." Can U suggest some solution to this?

Hi,

Since you have configured this an async port, it does not have entry in interface table. So this error is appearing. You need to contact Ciscoview team or TAC to get it resolved.
