Is it possible to get the vlan.dat to factory default?
I use some catalyst (3548XL) in our testlab and create some test-vlans on it. VTP is enable on the switches. When I need to place the switches in our network I want to delete all test-vlans and get the vtp configuration revision number to zero. So I can do this in the vlan database. I must delete all test-vlans manually and then I rename the vtp-domain-name to get the vtp configuration revision number to zero. My question is, does a single command exist to do this faster or to get the vlan.dat to factory default?
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
