Failover on 1721

Setup:

1721 router with 2 WIC-1ENETs connected to 2 different ISPs using xDSL.

DSL modem provided by ISP.

Question:

Is there a way to do failover ? If network of ISP 1 is down I use ISP 2.

For failover, 1721 need to know by some way that the dsl link to isp went down. It is very very difficult one ethernet interface as both the interface (ethernet and dialer) will remain up/up even if the dsl link to isp went down.

There is feature request filed CSCds88143 to address that issue.
