will the fast setup software work on a 2620. ios version 12.1? im trying to configure NM-8am on a 2620, using fast setup software, no success so far.

I think you mean Fast Step? This should work:

No it won't work. Per http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/faststep, there is no FastStep software listed for 2620 router. You may want to configure it manually.
