Can anyone please say, how can I find the capabilities of a FastEthernet port on controller card of a 7206, like if it supports VLAN, trunking, etc.
I have alreday searched all the product documentation was not there!
Thanks,
Mohammad

I dont think 7200 series routers supports VLANs as in catalyst switches. However you could use bridging if needed.
Most fast ethernet ports support trunking(either ISL/dot1q or both) and is software dependent as well. You can use the feature navigator

dot1q works on my fas port. I think vlan trunking support depends more on IOS than controller. Use FeatureNavigator to find right IOS. My controller is:
Interface FastEthernet0/0
Hardware is DEC21140
Slot 0:
Fast-ethernet on C7200 I/O card with MII or RJ45 Port adapter, 1 port
Port adapter is analyzed
Port adapter insertion time 5d15h ago
