FEC on the 2948G-L3

Hi,

I'm configuring etherchannel betwee a 2948G-L3 and 2950 switches using four 10/100 connections. When i test the connectivity by pulling one or two cables, sometimes a connectivity is established sometimes not.

I really appreciate if you have some suggestions regarding this matter.

Does the link not comeup after you restore the connection or do you see some packet loss when you remove/insert link. If it's the later, I think it is because the port is added back to spanning tree, which causes a loss of connection on the channel until the link is forwarding again. An EtherChannel is preserved even if it contains only one port(due to a member going down) in CAT OS 6.3(x) and later but I believe we do not have this feature in IOS
