feedback on NM-16ESW-VLANs

Good afternoon;

I am being discourged to buy the NM-16ESW by my hardware vendor. He states that he has never been able to get it to work correctly.

The senerio I am looking at - 2621 with five networks behind it

1) Fe0/1 network 10.101.XX.0/24 VLAN6

2) Fe0/2 networks 172.16.28.0/24 & 172.16.128.0/24 Trunking VLAN3&4

3) Fe0/3 PIX 506 to Web server NIC 1 - allow 80 and 443 Public IP VLAN2

4) Fe0/4 Web Server with no internal routing NIC 2 - VLAN5 with Access list

deny 80 and 443 allow other ip traffic only to one ip address 10.101.xx.101. Deny all outbound traffic.

What are your thoughts?

Lloyd

That looks like a supported configuration. If you have problems with it, Cisco TAC should take care of you. You might have your vendor talk to their Cisco rep on it.
