Do I need Cisco PIX Device manager to manage the new Firewall Switch module that goes into a 6500 Catalyst chassis?
How do I ge this software?
Is it free?
Can I manage as many FWSM as I want on differen 6500 chassis's?

Yes the PDM software comes with the FSM blade, or at least you're entitled to download it.
Yes you can manage multiple firewalls from it, several at least - I only have 3 PIX blades total.

At initial release, the FWSM is managed via CLI and the Cisco PIX Device Manager (PDM). PDM uses wizard-based menus to guide users through firewall configuration. For more information, visit:

With the PDM software can I manage more than one FWSM?
I need to manage three FWSM in one 6509 and two FWSM in anothjer 6513.
Does this software come with the FWSM module?
