Firewall with VPN feature

Dear Sir,

I want to propose firewall with vpn for a customer who wants to host a Web server.

Web server will be accessed by customer's mobile users approximately 5Nos.

Customer want's to secure his Web server and also allow mobile user to form a von tunnel with his internal network.

Thanks & Regards

Re: Firewall with VPN feature

Hello,

you could use an IOS with the Firewall Feature set and IPSec 56 or higher. This would allow you to terminate VPN tunnels and at the same time protect your internal web server. Not sure if this answers your question...

Regards,

Georg

Re: Firewall with VPN feature

Or you could use the PIX firewall which is more secure than the IOS based...If you are looking for a cheaper solution you can use the PIX 501 with one outside and one inside interface (4 port switch for the inside). You can configure the PIX for VPN client termination on the outside interface. The web server will be secured on the inside interface.
