our company have a Cat4006 switch ,and the console are now indicate a message like following :
"2002 Aug 25 19:30:14 %SYS-4-P2_WARN: 1/Host 02:01:00:00:00:00 is flapping betwee
n port 2/29 and port 1/1 1/2"
NOte: the mac addr is 02:01:00:00:00:00,
what's the problem?could you help me ?

What connects to port 2/29? I'm assuming you are channeling on ports 1/1-2. to some other switchAlso the MAC address seems to be bogus. Try sniffing port/vlan to see who is sending out this MAC address. Also look at the following page

I suggest that you upgrade your CAT4006 to 6.3(8). We have lot of bug fixes in this release. Also

to connects a2/29 is a workstation(pc), but as i checking,the tcp/ip config is correct, and i don't have method to this.
note:1/1and 1/2 are using trunk to other switchs
