Hi,

is the DF flag set?

-Jonathan

Thanks Jon

On Multilink , fragment is disable....

Is this is the reason ???/

Ah not sure - just to verify, are you setting the DF bit on your ping and testing that way?

No, that's a PPP option.

As Jonathan has asked, are you setting DF in your ping?  If not, ping will allow larger than MTU, it will just fragment the IP packet.

Hi Josheph , How PPP is support for Jumbo ping....?

It's not PPP, it's IP that does.

Again, try setting DF and see if it works.

However, if you're just ping across the PPP link, often serial media used with PPP supports MTUs larger than Ethernet.
