forward all outging http and ftp traffic

Here's the issue: I need to transparently forward all outging http and ftp traffic from my network to a proxy server on port 8080 before going out. Example: packet arrives from internal net with destination socket www.yahoo.com:80, it needs to be redirected to socket myproxy:8080 . The proxy will then send it on out.

Is there a way of doing this with IOS ?

no. This is not possible.

You might want a Cache Engine to intercept the traffic transparently.

But we have a cache machine we don't want use the cisco router like proxy but translate port 80 to 8080 and route this traffic the a proxy which is not the default gateway
