Forwarding ports from the outside on a 804 isdn router

I am trying to forward a port, say 5000 so that users can access from outside our network via the internet to a program that uses it. I am trying to forward this port to inside ip addresses.

The router uses IOS 12.0 and is performing NAT to workstations on private ip addresses. I figured out how to forward udp ports using ip forward-protocol and ip helper-address but i am not able to forward tcp packets.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Steve Helder

Try this line:

ip nat inside source static tcp 176.33.4.14 5000 210.115.197.172 5000 extendable
