Frame Relay and authentication

Hello,

Before the network was made of leased lines with PPP and chap authentication. R1----R2

Now the network is built on a Frame relay network. R1--(FR)--R2

It seems the network isn't so secure as before...

How can I secure the network to get authentication between both routers R1 and R2 ?

For total security, you can encrypt the traffic across the frame cloud using an IPSEC tunnel.
