Frame Relay and Point to Point sub interfaces

Two routers are configured with point to point sub interfaces. If the interface, PVC or connection to the frame on one of the router goes down. Will the line protocol on the second router go down as well? I'm confused because I have read different opinions.

Probably not. As long as router 2 sees lmi from the frame switch, It will consider itself up/up. Layer 3 is a different story

if you configured point to point subinterface so the status of IP interfcae is related to the status of the PVC on the tow routers, so if the PVC go down on one router its IP interface goes down and it will be on the second.

point to point Frame relay is seemelar as LS.
