Free Net with Caller ID accounting

I am try to configure Cisco 3600 Access Server ( E1 Channalized R2 signaling ) in a Free NET enviroment.

There is no user name and password for dial-up user.

Telcomm. is sending Caller ID to the Access Server.

I want the access server to get the CALLER ID ( caller phone number ) and send it to the TACACS+ Server ( Cisco Secure 2.6 ) for accounting perpose

My configuration :

controller E1 4/0

framing NO-CRC4

ds0-group 0 timeslots 1-15,17-31 type r2-digital r2-compelled

cas-custom 0

interface FastEthernet0/0

ip address

speed auto

interface Group-Async1

ip unnumbered FastEthernet0/0

encapsulation ppp

ip tcp header-compression passive

async mode interactive

peer default ip address pool test

group-range 161 190

ip local pool test

ip route

line 161 190

modem InOut

autocommand ppp

transport input all

autoselect during-login

autoselect ppp

Controller E1 is up , and working , NAS can ping the TACACS+ Server

TACACS+ address is

I need the access server commands that make the access server to get the Caller ID from the Telecom. and pass it to the TACACS+ Server for accounting

Re: Free Net with Caller ID accounting

Debugging E1-R2 signalling on 3600 platforms is not yet available in the ios.

So we can't debug the signalling part during witch the CLID or DNIS is received..Pl. make sure that the NAS is tunned to proper custom E1-R2 signalling based on the country. But we can just rely on aaa stack for that..So you can turn on following debug and see the CLID is even passed to ACS

debug aaa authentication

debug aaa authorization

debug aaa accounting

Re: Free Net with Caller ID accounting

You will need to enable AAA, use accounting to get the info to the server, and don't use anything else. So try something like:

aaa new-model

aaa authen ppp default none

aaa author network default none

aaa account network default start-stop group tacacs+

tac server host key foo

If there are any problems connecting once you enable this, try "debug aaa authen" and "debug aaa author"; otherwise, "debug aaa account" and "debug tacacs" to see the accounting info.
