FTP through PIX

I am working on a problem that allows an FTP from a PIX 520 ver 4.4(5) transferring data from a 100 security interface to complete an FTP tranfer to another device through a 75 security interface - no problem with the transfer. When I do the revers of the FTP transfer from the 75 secutiy interface through the 100 security to a device the FTP transfer fails at 2.1mb consistanly.

Any ideas on what could be happing? The error I recieve from the machine when it fails is:

Netout :Connection reset by peer

Connection closed by remote host.

Any ideas?

So a 2Meg file transfers fine? Do you get this 2.1 Meg written to a file on secure100 side?

You can try:

1. Opening all the ports for a while

2. Get log to see if anything is being blocked.

Actually, the ports are all open and nothing shows up as unusual in the log - the teardown occurs and the connection is dropped. And yes, a partial file is left but then cleaned up.

I will be upgrading the IOS to GD - hopefully that will resolve the issue.
