I am in search of a critical answer. The 6513 has two possible power supplies a 2500W and 4000W. The cisco document on the web states that you must use 220 power to have the capacity of 2500W. They also state that a fully populated 6513 Chassis will not be fully redundant. So, my question is will dual 4000W power supplies provide full redundancy? And how do I determine the Min. AMP needed? on the 2500W it is16A. I believe it should be 32A on the 4000W.
I'm facing the same question and in my research I'm coming to the conclusion that the comment about "fully populated" means with inline power. The 6509s and 6513 I have now I can't see any combination of cards without inline power exceeding the output of the 2500W power supply.
