gbic stacking between cisco 2924 and 2950 switches

i have gigastacking modules in two cases between cisco2924 and 2950 switches and in one case gigastckingis done between a module on 2924 and gigasint on 2950 12 port switch withei software

the problem is that the duplex on gbic likbks has gone to half duplex on auto negotition on all switch giga modules

also in case where i have 12 port 2950 switch with 2 gbic int if i do duplex to full forcefully on 2924 side i am not able to telnet to the 12 port switch as well as network gets break

can u suggest me any solution to it

Hello,

which IOS and/or CatOS versions are you using ? This could be a software bug. Can you post the configs of both switches ?

Are these point to point connections? The GBICs only support half-duplex when cascaded.
