We have dynmamically allocated IPs from our ISP, without a static address is there a way to get the 1605 to get the dynamic address from the ISP? OR should I get the static IP?

you should have the ip+ soft version.
then you can use the command: ip address negotiated under (config-if)#;
if you r using PSTN, then dialer interface should include this command. then use NAT .

Hi, What is the IOS ver required for this? I also have a 1605R with IOS c1600-oy-mz.121-1 loaded and have neither ip address dhcp or ip address negotiated commands available? I am trying to get a DHCP address from an ADSL modem attached to Ethernet0
