Gig EtherChannel between two Cat 4006s

I need to create a Gig ether channel between tow 4006s. I don't want to select two port on the same blade though, in case the one blade goes down.

Can I generate a Gig ether channel with 2 Gig ports on two separate blades?

I have SUP IV engines on the switches.

Re: Gig EtherChannel between two Cat 4006s

Referencing the configuration guide for IOS 12.1(13) on the Cat 4006:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/cat4000/12_1_13/config/channel.htm#1020363

It says:

" You can form an EtherChannel with up to eight compatibly configured Ethernet interfaces across modules in a Catalyst 4000 family switch. "

Also in the guidelines and Restrictions section:

"All Ethernet interfaces on all modules support EtherChannel (maximum of eight interfaces) with no requirement that interfaces be physically contiguous or on the same module. "

So it should work fine.
