Giga Channel on 6509

Can we make giga channel across two cards in two different slots of 6509 Switch?

Yes you sure can. There is no requirement that ports be contiguous or on the same module

But the channel members have to be on the same chassis, meaning, you cannot have a port from one chassis and another port in a different chassis going into another switch
