Is is possible to configure a gigabit etherchannel using the line ports of a WS-X4448-GB-RJ45 card configured in a Catalyst 4500, has anyone any experience of doing this. I understand that I will need to use cross-over cables but what other things do I need to take into account. What are the cons of doing this over using the ports in the supervisor engine..?
The supervisor uplink ports are not oversubscribed, whereas the ports in 4448 are oversubscribed 8:1
