Re: Gigabit etherchannel

Gigabit Etherchannel is supported on all blades of the 4003 and the supervisor. It is also supported on all blades of the Cat6k.

Re: Gigabit etherchannel

So if I take 2 GBIC's (sx) over multimode fiber and bundle them into the same port channel group, match the speed and duplex and set them to desirable or on. Does that mean those 2 links are 4 GIG's or is it a 2 GIG port channel???

Re: Gigabit etherchannel

Depends on how you look at it. It is a 2 Gig port channel that can handled 4 Gigs of total bandwidth (full-duplex operation)
