Solved: Gigabit support on Cat6000

I have a Cat6006 with the following modules installed :

WS-X6K-SUP1A-2GE

WS-F6K-MSFC2

WS-SVC-IDSM-2

WS-X6348-RJ-45

WS-6416-GBIC

I want to replace 10/100baseT modules with 10/100/1000baseT modules.

I would like to know if the Catalyst 6000 supports 10/100/1000baseT modules ?

( especially WS-X6148A-GE-TX : Catalyst 6500 48-port 10/100/1000 w/Jumbo Frame, RJ-45 )

I know that there are 1000baseT modules with 16 ports that are supported but no longer sold.

WS-X6148A-GE-TX is supported in CAT6006 as long as you are running CAT OS 8.4(1) or later. Note that you need 128MB DRAM on Sup1a for this release.
