Thanks for the info. What I find the config is fine and only the "track" command may not required due to no need to track GE 0/0 & 0/1 and also not use the track in GLBP group command. So you can remove the "track" command.
Could you also provide the "show glbp" before & after disconnect the cable at both routers ?
You can also use"debug glbp error" to determine any error in glbp.
For the disable state in debug. I cannot find the exact meaning of it but according to the "show glbp" description, there are two disable state :
1) virtual gateway - Disabled? The virtual IP address has not been configured or learned yet, but another GLBP configuration exists.
2) virtual forwarder - Disabled? The virtual MAC address has not been assigned or learned. This is a transitory state because a virtual forwarder changing to a disabled state is deleted.
Moreover, please advise where do you carry the ping test ? At both VLAN 600 & 700 PC ? Please try to carry a continous ping to determine will the ping successful after a few minutes ? Thx.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
