GLC-T Support

Hi,

I would like to know if GLC-T, 1000BaseT

SFP supports 10/100Mbps connections?

Thanks!

Re: GLC-T Support

It depends on the PHY it is plugged into. If the PHY supports it then the GLC-T will as well. For example in the 2970, 3560 & 3750 the GLC-T will operate at either 10Mbps, 100Mbps or 10000Mbps. On the Catalyst 4500 48-port SFP module (WS-4448-GB-SFP) the GLC-T only operates at 1000Mbps. This is the same on the 6500 Sup720, 6724-SFP, 6748-SFP.

Re: GLC-T Support

Hi,

According to the following doc:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/modules/ps5455/products_device_support_table09186a0080446625.html

the GLC-T does support 10/100/1000 operation.

Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.
