I know that from the CLI - we can define interface type=tunnel and specify the mode GRE for those specified Catalyst platform. Can somebody confirm those points since I am not able to find accurate answer on CCO for GRE on those platform:
- GRE is supported on Cat6K and it will run in software (MSFC2) for Sup1a ?
- In MSFC2 it will be switched by CEF if enable on interface ?
- What is the expected forward rate (MPPS or Kpps) when packet are switch by CEF in MSFC2 (sup1a) ?
