Hardware help

I am currently working with 2514 routers and am looking into options for upgrading to a router that would offer 100MB interfaces. What device would you suggest? Would something in the 3600 series be a good choice. I am looking perferrably for something with RJ45 10BaseT interfaces.

I am also looking to increase the bandwidth of our firewall. I currently have a 100Mb interface and wondering what options there were as far as gigabit interfaces or adding some more 100MB interfaces to help carry the load.

Thanks

Re: Hardware help

I have used 2600 series routers as replacements for my old 2500. I have replaced some 2501's with 2621's and they seem to work very good. The 2621's have 2 FastEthernet 100MB interfaces.

Re: Hardware help

I agree. 2600's are a good choice. Also, 1700's might do if the form factor (not rack mountable) is ok.
